By collaborating with A16 to publish a collection devoted to young architects, the International Center for the City, Architecture and Landscape (CIVA) has deliberately taken a forward-looking approach. While such a collection can obviously not claim exhaustivity, it nonetheless tries to reflect a multiplicity of youthful contemporary practices. In this way, CIVA pursues its mandate to promote key architectural works, which nonetheless constitute only part of a rich
output. To leave our usual habits behind, we decided to offer foreign critics and photographers from different horizons the
delicate mission of casting their own gaze on the selected architects. CIVA would like to thank the French Community for its support in an adventure that combines architectural experiments with proximity to the creators.
